Max Skibinsky is serial entrepreneur, angel investor & start-up mentor in Silicon Valley. He bootstrapped his first consulting startup in 90ties, working with clients such as Netscape, AOL, Celera Genomics and Electronic Arts. After years of working inside many startups and few bigger companies Max founded Hive7, one of the very first social gaming company known for its smash hit game “Knighthood” that grown to millions of players on Facebook. In 2010 Hive7 was sold to Playdom/Disney.  Max is resident mentor in 500Startups incubator as well as co-founder of Inporia that secured investment from YCombinator, Ron Conway/SV Angels, NEA, Clearstone, Ignition and other prominent angels. When not designing, recruiting, brainstorming, advising, and building startups Max can be found flying around Palo Alto airspace.

Aleksandra Markova is an associate at techVenture – a seed accelerator & startup team building company. Before that she worked with ReframeIt – a social annotation tool. She has a diverse entrepreneurial experience from leading the US market entry for the luxury furniture company Oasis Bagni to co-founding Transparency for development – a social incubator program for micro entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. During her studies at the Moscow State Linguistic University she led the Russia communication for Heidelberg Cement – a global Fortune 500 company. Aleksandra believes that Moscow has the potential of becoming a future center of global innovation & entrepreneurship. With this blog she wants to contribute to making this happen. She received her education and work experience in Russia and the U.S. Naida has worked both on the agency and client sides by creating campaigns to promote products and services that changed our lives for the better. Naida’s responsibilities included development of PR concepts, planning and implementation of educational, charitable, and promotional projects, writing and editing various marketing materials and promotional texts, work with the media. Naida has successfully completed numerous projects for start-up companies (startups – Carbonflow), large corporations (Panasonic Corporation, UPS, Sesame Street), and for non-profits (Rotary International, Teach with Africa).
